Simply because the most exciting thing about this week was the windy weather, I'm going to post a few photos of me that have somehow managed to not get posted yet. Thanks to Robin for jumping photos and Lisa for the rest of the pictures.
We were as high as 60 knots, now we're down to just about no wind.
When the first boat left with most of the summer folk, I tried my best Greg Louganis impression.
Turns out I ended up sliding down on my bum instead. It's still not my all-time best dive.
One of the age-old questions that continues to go unanswered, like how many licks it takes to get to the center of the Tootsie Pop, is how many people we can fit in the hot tub.
This is me... knitting... in a hockey jersey.
We had an octopus piƱata on Cinco de Mayo. Alan had the honor of bashing it's brains out while I stood by, ready to pounce.
I was able to grab the goods, but Dave was there to make sure I didn't get very far. Don't worry, no chairs were damaged in the tackling of this dummy.
In an effort to stay slim at Palmer, with all of the free all-you-can-eat buffets, I have challenged the station manager to keep track of weight in a semi-public way. We weighed ourselves when we arrived, which we coined our "Princess Weight", then we track how far below or (more likely) above that weight we are at any given time. This photo is of me adding a pound or two by cleaning out the cookie dough from the mixing bowl while simultaneously trying to convince the station manager that I'll need help to finish it all.

I'm ok with "Princess weight" being the lowest. :D
